By plane:
Portland’s International Jetport (PWM) is easy to fly into with with multiple airlines providing direct service. JetBlue, Delta, United, Continental, AirTran and US Airways.
We’re also accessible via Boston’s Logan International Jetport (LGA), Bangor’s International Airport (BGR), and Rockland’s Knox County Regional Airport (RKD — serviced by Cape Air.
By car:

- Bangor — 1.5 hours
- Rockland — 30 minutes
Local transportation service such as Atlantic Limo, Midcoast Limo, and Mermaid Transportation can be hired in Maine for the drive to Camden.
Driving directions
From Points South: Take Interstate 95 North to Portland. Exit 44 to I-295 North. Continue north on I-295 to Exit 28 Coastal Route/US 1. In Warren, turn Left onto Route 90 at the blinking yellow light. Continue on Route 90 until it intersects with Route 1 again in Rockport. Turn Left on Route 1 North to downtown Camden. The Camden Opera House will be on your left, across from the Village Green.
By train:
Catch Amtrak to Boston, and then hop on Concord Trailways’ MidCoast Route to the Camden/Rockport bus station. Call ahead and a local taxi service (Schooner Bay, 207-594-5000 or Yellow Cab, 207-596-3440) will drive you the last mile to the Camden Opera House.
